In December 2025, a new chapter began for The Cheese Larder, nestled in the heart of South Molton, this much-loved shop has long been a destination for cheese lovers across North Devon - and we feel incredibly proud to have taken the reins and continue its story.

The Cheese Larder has always been about more than just cheese. It’s about craftsmanship, conversation, and community. When we took over in December 2025, our aim was simple: to honour everything people already love about the shop while gently bringing our own passion and ideas to the counter.

Our shelves are filled with carefully chosen British and continental cheeses, from small batch farmhouse cheddars to creamy blues and delicate goat's cheese. We work closely with independent producers who care deeply about quality and provenance as we do.
Alongside the cheeses, you’ll find thoughtful accompaniments- chutneys, crackers, charcuterie, and seasonal treats - everything you need to create something special.

But at its heart, The Cheese Larder is about people. Whether you’re a long-standing customer, a curious visitor exploring South Molton for the first time, or simply in need of the perfect wedge for supper, you’ll always find a warm welcome, knowledgeable advice, and a genuine love of good food.

Taking over this wonderful shop just before Christmas 2025 made the festive season especially meaningful for us. It marked not just a change in ownership, but the beginning of a new era- one rooted in tradition, guided by quality, and shaped by the community we’re so proud to serve.
