Pebblebed Sparkling White Traditionally made with at least 24 months on lees, this sparkling dry white wine has a good upfront fruit and a long finish. A Gold medal award winner at the prestigious South West Wine Competition, this wine is made from the Seyval grapes grown in their own vineyard. The wine judges favourite this sparkling white wine came in 13th in the UK! Described as an "apple" crisp lively wine with a delicate sparkling nose and a good complexity.
History of Pebblebed First established in 1999 as a community project, Pebblebed has steadily grown, planting new parcels of land across the Ebford and Clyst St George slopes outside of Exeter. Now they have over 20 acres of established vineyards on sunny south facing slopes. The vineyards are carefully managed, working as much as possible with the natural environment to produce the best quality grapes. Pebblebed Vineyards welcome people of all ages to visit the vineyard on one of their regular tours or you can join in with their community events such as harvest time.
At the Cheese Larder in South Molton we are pleased to be able to offer their range of award-winning wines from our beloved Devon!
