We aim to despatch your order the day after it has been received.  On odd occasions it may be necessary to delay for a day or two due to availability. If this is the case we will contact you either by email or telephone. During busy periods (Christmas and Easter) please allow up to 5 days for your order to be despatched.


All weights can vary slightly as the cheese is cut to order by hand, however we will endeavour to be as accurate as possible. Prices are based on the actual weight of the cut cheese.


We aim to despatch your order on the day we receive notification, and confirmation of payment, for orders received before 12 noon. Orders are sent out Monday to Thursday on a ‘Next Day Delivery’ service to avoid being caught up in the weekend.  You will receive an email from us once your parcel has been dispatched.Should an order be required for a Saturday delivery this can be done by special arrangement, at an additional charge.


Please ensure that your delivery address and postcode are accurate – we cannot be responsible for non-delivery to an inaccurate address.  In the event of no-one being available to sign for the parcel please give us clear instructions for a safe place where the parcel may be left! (please note that if the parcel is left it will be at your risk)We have a policy of ‘reduce/re-use/recycle’. Therefore your parcel will be carefully wrapped and packed in a used cardboard box with an ice pack to ensure your cheese arrives in optimum condition.Postage up to a weight of 20kg will be £8.99 to the UK Mainland (excluding Saturdays).

Minimum order

There is no minimum order however the postage and packing rates will apply.

Gift Message

We are very happy to provide a brief handwritten message if the recipient is receiving it as a gift. Please note on your order the message you would like sending with your gift


We take great pride with our products. Please inspect your goods once received and contact us either by email or telephone if you are not entirely happy. If any item has been received in a damaged condition please contact us within 24 hours – we may need to have the product back.

Postage and packing

All orders will be sent out in specialised polyboxes with cardboard sleeves.  Within these boxes will be ice packs to endeavour to keep your cheese selection in optimum condition.Postage up to a weight of 20kg will be £8.99 to the UK Mainland – if your parcel is travelling further please contact us direct on 01769 572664 and we can chat further.


Payment for all goods must be made in advance.  We do not allow credit unless this has been agreed specifically between parties.  All prices shown include VAT at the standard rate where applicable. We accept payments online by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. Payment is taken when you place your order and if it is not authorised then the order will not be processed, however we would endeavour to contact you to take an alternative form of payment. Once payment has been accepted you will receive an email from us confirming your order.


Risk of damage or deterioration passes to the buyer upon delivery. We will not accept any claims for damage or deterioration after delivery has been made.


All data stored by us will be kept in the strictest of confidence and not shared with any third party.


Should your product not be as specified or damaged please return it to us with the original packaging and your receipt and we will exchange or refund you in full. Your statutory rights will not be affected.


You have the right to cancel your order at any time.  However if the goods have been despatched then cancellations will not be accepted.


The title of the goods remains the property of The Cheese Larder until paid in full.
