Quinta de la Rosa Late Bottled Vintage Port 2012. Crafted from traditional grape varieties, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca. Sousao and Tinta Roriz from La Rosa's A-graded vineyards. This Port has not been filtered and might throw a light sediment but should not require decanting. Delicious with dessert, especially cheese or chocolate.
Quinta de la Rosa Port's are made in the 'house style' namely slightly drier without any cloying sweetness that can be associated with other ports, working hard to ensure the brandy has been well integrated.
This Late Bottled Vintage 2012 Port has fabulous dark, black cherry and blackcurrant fruit flavours, a great richness on the palate whilst at the same time exhibiting a wonderful balance and freshness. Perfect for immediate drinking. Please make sure the bottle is not kept in direct sunlight or some oxidizing may occur.
Quinta de la Rosa's Late Bottled Vintage Ports are matured in large wooden casks called "tonals" in their own lodge for 4 - 6 years until ready for bottling.
