Produced in the heart of Devon near Crediton, the Norsworthy is a semi-hard unpasteurised goat's cheese made to a Dutch receipe. This gentle cheese is mild and creamy, white in colour, with a firm texture. Suitable for vegetarians.
Made by Norworthy Dairy Goats in Gunstone near Crediton, the herd was established in 1999 with 40 'day-old' kids! 12 months later they were producing milk. Over the following 2 years the herd was expanded to 90 milkers and in 2002 the milk was made into cheese.
Other cheeses in their range are the stronger Gunstone and the soft Tillerton.
