Situated on the windswept hills between the rugged north Cornish coast and the much romanticised Bodmin Moor, Martin & Jean Edwards, the partners of Deli Farm Charcuterie, have been making award winning air dried charcuterie including many different flavours of Salami, Coppa, Bresaola, Duck Prosciutto, Wild Venison, Smoked Lamb Prosciutto and Pancetta.
Since starting in 2006 they have reliably been winning awards with their artisan charcuterie products each year, including many ‘Great Taste’ and ‘Best of the West’ awards, including ‘Champion Product’ with their Coppa Ham. In 2012 they were runners up in the ‘Best Producer’ section of the Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards.
In their own words …."Our main ethos is to be as fresh, local and natural as we can reliably and safely be, we do NOT use any artificial colouring, flavourings, emulsifiers or phosphates. We only use prime joints of meat from carefully selected local producers; we keep our packaging minimalistic and only use 100% renewable electricity”
