BRITISH BLUE CHEESE AT ITS BEST!
When one thinks of blue cheese one immediately thinks of Stilton. Whether from Colston Bassett or Cropwell Bishop, Stilton really is the king of blue cheese. But, spare a thought of some other fabulous blues made across the UK by artisan cheese-makers. Although there is whole plethora of blues to choose from (with varied and contrasting flavours) we have highlighted the 3 best blues in our counter at the moment! Now we could go on waxing lyrical about the many different tastes and styles but we thought we would let the cheeses do the talking ……..

"SOUTH MOLTON WINTER WONDERLAND 2018"

***** CHRISTMAS LATE NIGHT SHOPPING AND GIN TASTING EVENING! *****

South Molton's Late Night Shopping Event takes place on Friday November 30th  and our shop will have extended opening hours from 5.30pm-9pm!

Here at The Cheese Larder we shall be hosting Tom from the Salcombe Distillery Company who will be sampling his 'Start Point' Salcombe Gin together with the superb Limited Editions.  Come along and try the fabulous range of hand crafted gins. Unlike many larger producers they use a more traditional approach known as the one shot method and distill their gin according to the 'London Dry' standard, although they tend to think of it more as a 'Devon Dry' - London gin with Devon sunshine!

Now we could wax lyrical about the exotic botanicals, warming spiced citrus notes, and the Dartmoor water used to create their exceptional gin - but don't take our word for it .... come along and try it for yourself.
